With broken hearts we announce the passing of Jordan Eric Gaisford, aged 29. Lovingly remembered by his mom Carmen Gaisford and fiancée Doug Lougheed,  brother Jason Gaisford, girlfriend Maryna Phommarath and his loving circle of family and friends.  Jordan was predeceased by his dad Rick Gaisford.

Born with a sparkly smile, bright eyes and a beautiful head of hair, Jordan will always be remembered as an incredibly sweet, kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He had a gentle nature and always took a sincere interest in everyone he met.

Jordan attended Holy Cross High School and graduated from St. Thomas Moore Collegiate in 2006.  He had a passion and talent for tinkering with technology and recently found his niche by graduating from the BCIT Network Administration and Tech Program.  Jordan was currently employed in sales utilizing his great people skills, but was very excited to be on a new career path that he worked so hard to achieve.  Jordan was also thrilled to have found his soul mate Maryna whom he spent many happy times with outdoors, hiking and enjoying life.

Jordan was an avid learner, enjoyed cooking and had the travel bug.  Years ago he spent an extended length of time living in Sapporo, Japan where he made many lasting friendships.  Jordan had a beautiful soul and we feel blessed and grateful to have had him in our lives. We will forever carry him in our hearts, treasure our memories and remember him for the special person that he was.

Visitation and prayers will be held at on Thursday April 26that 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held the following day, Friday April 27th, at 12:00 p.m, both at St. Matthew’s Parish, 16079-88thAve., Surrey.  The family welcomes you to a reception following the service to celebrate Jordan’s life.  If you wish, donations are greatly appreciated in Jordan’s honour to the BCIT Foundation, 3700 Willingdon Ave., Burnaby, B.C. , V5G 3H2. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jordan. When he transferred to St. Thomas More Collegiate, Jordan quickly adapted to our community and made new friends easily. Jordan just seemed to be a very friendly and outgoing young man who you couldn't help but like. May you find peace and strength to deal with Jordan's passing.

God's blessings

I am so devastated to hear of Jordan's passing.

I was close with Jordan growing up and have many fond memories in the Gaisford household. I didn't speak with Jordan for many years, but recently we had reconnected and I was so thrilled to catch up with him and see what a nice man he had become. Charming, intelligent with an infectious smile, he was a very special person. My hearts go out to Carmen and Jason for this tragic loss. I will always remember those nice childhood memories and feel lucky to have spent time with him recently before his passing.

Sending all positive thoughts to the Gaisford's in this difficult time.
