Lydia journeyed into the arms of the creator in the late evening of July 16that age 61 from her home in Fort Langley B.C.  after succumbing to a second battle with Cancer with her husband at her side. Born in Regina Saskatchewan to Fern and Joan (Redwood) Lavallee Lydia married Kenneth Harold (Hal) Brown on May 18th 1991 in their home in Surrey at the age of 30. Predeceased by mother Joan, Lydia, cherished by all she leaves behind her husband Hal, children Tamara (Dan) and Josh (Sofia) , father Fern, sisters Crystal (David) and Dianne, friend Lee.  Well loved by her many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The wake of pain and sorrow left will undoubtedly often bring back many memories of joy by her love, laughter, shenanigans and passion to make you smile or laugh as she loved to do. Lydia was competitive cross-fit athlete at 59 and successful entrepreneur. Her rule of unconditional love often surprised complete strangers by giving them heart shaped rocks as a gesture of her compassion and love. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. An indigenous journey ceremony was held at St George's Anglican Church on July 21st with the Chief and family of the Kwantlen First Nations and Rev. Kelly Duncan officiating. A celebration of life will be held August 20 in Surrey B.C. open to family, friends and some customers. View Tribute Book.
